Plastazote is a closed-cell, cross-linked, polyethylene foam designed to be heat formed at 275 degrees Fahrenheit to a positive model or directly to a patient’s foot. Its comfortable feel, purity, light-weight, and conformability make it the standard material for diabetic and arthritic foot management. The constant dynamic molding of an orthotic with Plastazote will redistribute pressure away from a sore spot or bony prominence.

Light-weight orthotic splint, shell, or reinforcement layer. Also used for shoe elevations for leg length discrepancies.
